Are foldable panels any better than "flexible" panels

I've had the thought of getting one or two of these to lay across my RV awning and hook into an exterior port that goes into RV to a solar controller. I'm wondering if there is any data on whether or not these foldable panels have better life than the "flexible" ones that Will Prose is saying are always garbage. But do these fall into the same boat as far as quality?

As long as it's just a normal monocrystalline glass backed rigid panel, it will last just as long as any other.

I don't think the size of the panel (it being smaller and portable) inherently changes its lifespan.
