Avoiding "extra" bus bars

My wiring diagram has these hand wavy wire connections. For the red arrow, would it be reasonable to put the wire to the fuse, and the wire to the switch both on the output terminal to connect it all? Or I could use the input terminal of the red switch as the connection point. Whichever has a larger terminal likely makes more sense. And for the yellow arrow, to avoid a bunch potentially unnecessary connections, would it be reasonable to use a 1/8" thick copper plat with 4 holes in it, two to attach it to the BMS, one for the wire to the charge controller, and one to the rest of the system?

Also, for the wires that attach to the BMS, should I use brass hardware that will conduct very well but don't allow for a ton of clamping force, or stainless steel hardware which won't conduct as well but will allow more clamping force?

Thanks!
