Best way to charge a 12s lithium bank?

Yeah…

There are some buck boost MPPT SCCs on Amazon, main application seems to be charging eMobility stuff like bikes and scooters, which are all higher voltage than a typical single panel.

48V is in the range of voltages those batteries are set up for.
I will take a look around, something like that may work.
I'm advised that manynof those controllers on Amazon are advertised as mppt but are in fact just PWM units, so will need to do my homework.
On another note, this open source controller may just be what I want?

Thanks for that link, very interesting.

The good thing about boost MPPT is that it’s basically physically impossible to fake one with PWM since there is almost no power output above Voc

Yeah that would be quite a good application for that use too. Pretty much all the e-bike batteries I've seen are 48v banks.
There is an open source controller called open-sec that may be suitable.
Been reading about it here.
