BMS function test

I just got my BMS (4s DYBK) but I'm still waiting for the batteries. Does anyone know if there is a way I can test the BMS without hooking it up to four lifepo4 cells? If you put 12 vdc across the red and black sensor wires should it come to life enough so that I can test the bluetooth module and get the app talking to it?

I tested my BMS on a string of 18650 cells.

TomTilly did you end up figuring out how to test without cells. I’ve got two BMS I would like to test function.
