I have the JK BMS 4S-8S (B2A8S-20P) with the eight active balance cables, can it be used to balance two seperate 12v 4S Packs? My intention was to use a single 200A JK BMS with two seperate 4S 12V packs so that each pack has a connection to the JK BMS, but then use the eight balance cables across all the 8 cells to keep it all balanced.
I'm sure I saw a diagram on this forum from someone who had done this and confirmed it worked but can't for the life of me find it now. This seemed to give the advantage that it is two 12v packs with a single BMS.
Will this configuration work - can anyone recall a diagram showing this setup!
