If I build a 12V system by using 4ea 3.2V 304Ah LiFePO4 Batteries thereby creating a 12.8v 304Ah LiFePO4 Battery bank; What size BMS do I need for it? 4S 250A, 4S 300A, 4S 400A????? would a 4S 150A one work. This is where I get confused.

Using 4 3.2V cells to make a 12.8V battery.

The BMS size rating in amps is determined by your max expected loads. If you will have an inverter and most of your loads are from your inverter, then that would determine your needed amp handle capability.

For a 2000W inverter:
2000W / .85 efficiency / 10V battery cutoff = 235A
