As I awaiting building up fund for batteries & inverter.....
I have a 1.7hp 90vdc Gearworks motor (4200rpm). I plan to chain-drive this to an A-Synchronous Motor plugged into the grid power. I know one could grid-tie by over-clocking such a motor, and I still have some math to work out.... But the idea is a circuit-free grid-tie. Would it be efficient? NO, like 70%. Would it work & be a nearly free project? YES.
Array:
2400w 83vdc, 30AMP.
Feel free to chime why or why not?
