Bypassing PWM controller in all-in-one inverter to use separate MPPP controller

I recently purchased a Vevor PS3KVA 2500w Inverter/charger and find out in has a PWM controller. I want to bypass it with an MPPP controller but still use the inverter. Vevor site says it’s possible but doesn’t explain how. I’m using 3 LG 285w panels. Will demoed a similar unit 4 years ago, but his had MPPP built in but looked identical. How do I implement this? Disconnect PV from PWM

Connect PV to MPPT
Connect MPPT directly to battery

Unfortunately, if it tracks SoC based on input and output, it will never see what's coming in through the MPPT, so it will be inaccurate.
