Can you charge a single cell in a pack?

If a pack is out of balance can you charge single cells using a bench voltage source clipping leads to the posts if the cell that's out? Seems like that shoudl work.

Yes. A better solution is a battery charger. I have an X8 ICharger and it can charge or discharge single or series cells, from 1 to 8 cells.

Yes, I have done it to bring up one cell....just be careful....if you charge that one cell slightly more then the others and when the pack is charged fully that one cell will be over voltage in a flash and likely expand/puff up....

I think that it is easily doable with a regular battery charger
