Hello All,

I ordered 4 202ah CATL cells from new supplier. The shipment came yesterday and the cells are bloated to the extent, that i cannot properly install busbars. What do you think of them ? Seller insists they werent like that when they shipped them.

Thanks for help

Some expansion of the case is normal. I don't see an issue with those cells. Put them in a compression fixture, top balance them, charge them up and then test them for capacity. If they don't reach capacity then you have an objective reason for a warranty claim.

How much did you pay, including shipping, to have them arrive at your door?

Thanks for reply, @HRTKD. Will top balance them and test for capacity.

If they're supposed to be "A Grade", brand new, than it's not your problem.
Something is wrong.
