So here's the thing. . . .
Currently I have a 24v system, I'm in the process of making it a lot bigger to be able to charge my electric car.
I don't need more battery capacity for my house - but it looks as if I will have to change to a 48v inverter. . .
I have 2 battery banks of similar capacity, each with it's own BMS - home built - one made of 18650s and the other LEV50s, connected in parallel, they work just fine and have been for well over a year now. Is it realistic (or completely bonkers ?) to consider connecting them in series?
I really don't want to buy another battery, the storage I have works well and would be very hard to sell, I hate just throwing stuff away. . .
Many thanks in advance for any advice - go easy on my please ?
