I have just bought an Anker 535 portable power station (512Wh) for an off-grid caravan in SW France, and I would like to charge it from solar panels. I am a complete novice to solar electricity, so I could use a little help.

The Anker can be charged by 'any 11V–28V solar charger with a DC 8mm (DC 7909) male connector' according to the manual, which gives DC input as 11–28V = 10A (120W max).

I am thinking of getting two 100W 12V panels from Renogy (https://eu.renogy.com/100-watt-12-volt-monocrystalline-solar-panel-black-frame/) and connecting them in parallel. Would this work? I think I need to get an MC4 to DC 7909 male adaptor cable to connect the panels to the Anker. What kind of cables would I need to connect the two panels in parallel? I don't want to spend money on stuff I don't need, but at the same time I want to order everything that I do need at the same time, to save on shipping.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I think it is feasible, but is the Anker 535 compatible with merely DC 8mm (DC 7909) male connector, what about other adaptor cables? better double-check that. On the contrary, you could also considering picking another 100W solar panel that already has DC 8mm adaptor cable, so that you don't have to spend extra money on MC4 to DC 7909 male adaptor cable, and that must work that way! For instance, this 100W solar panel, you could read the review article of this 100W solar panel:
https://the-gadgeteer.com/2023/04/0...lar-panel-review-lightweight-and-works-great/, it has 1 to 4 solar adapter cable(5.5*2.1mm/MC4/Anderson/8mm solar adapter cable). Just for your reference, hope that helps.
