Hi all, I have an Anker 535 and charge it with two fixed 100w panels wired in parallel. (To fit the charge controller specs)
The 535 is rated for max 120w, but I have for months now seen it accept right up to 140w.
What is the limiting factor? The mppt controller itself, the wiring, or did Anker just decide it would be too hot for the fan to cool.
Could I possibly buy a more powerful mppt controller and put it in the box or what?
Reason for this is pure curiosity. It's only a 550wh battery, but I thought it'd be fun to charge it with 300w
I will eventually be putting somewhere around 2500 watts of panels on a pergola that I'm having built over my patio and get into "real" solar at that point.
