Hi Everyone,
I connected my 16 batteries in series, which equates to 53.8v. I tested all my terminal connections, which increased in voltage as I go from B1 to B16 ~ 53.8v.
I then connected the balance leads to the batteries, black wire lead to B1- and 1st red wire to B1 +...and so on until B16+. I then checked the balance loom(sorry, don't know the terminology but please educate me) or whatever you call it that connects to the BMS. I checked it's voltage from 1 - 16, increasing in voltage...with 16 showing 53.8v. Once I confirmed that the voltage is accurate, I connected the Balance loom to the BMS, and then connected the blue B- cable to B1- terminal. Afterward, I checked the voltage of the BMS, by checking the BMS black wire P- and B16+ terminal and it shows only 48.3v which is concerning. I then checked the voltage that is going into the BMS by checking the BMS blue wire B- with B16+ terminal, it shows 53.8v. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
