Shutdown Daly BMS with Switch on balancing input

Hello guys,

my challenge: I would like to remotelly deactivate BMS in my caravan. The termination of power cable is not the preferred solution, therefore I am looking for a logical one. Thus the idea on balance cable came to my mind. Did some one treid out to terminate one of the B1-4 or GND line in the 5 Pin of 4S BMS cable ?
I know Daly is quite picky on this cable therefore need some advice if there are some no-gos . Logically in case B1-4 can be disconnected the BMS should shutdown due to low voltage issue on the sense line.

If you're proposing triggering a BMS shutdown by "cutting" one of the BMS sense wires so that a single cell reads 0V, I think it's worth a try. You can clearly conduct the experiment yourself by simply disconnecting one of the sense leads and seeing if the desired result is obtained.
