I have two 12v SOK batteries that I have in parallel. I also have a separate home made 12v battery that I want to add to the string. All are 100ah, same 12 volts. Can I do this? If so, where is it recommended to sit 1st, middle or last?

doesn't matter. Interconnect with best practices (link #5 in my signature) and confirm current is within each battery's specification with a clamp DC ammeter under high load and high charge conditions.
