Ecoflow delta pro to shp trickle charging.

Love this forum,

I have dual delta pros and extra batteries attached to the SHP.
I am using a 50.4v 10A charger converting AC to DC - plugged in and mimicking a solar panel connection. I lose about 1-2% per pair of batteries per day when I have EPS on. This trickle charger solves my issue as I frequently travel for extended periods of time and live in an area with frequent power outages in the winter. So this setup solves my issue.

The question I have is, can I leave the trickle charger on indefinitely?

Apologies if I am unclear on the details. I’m learning as I go.

Generally speaking, holding lithium cells at 100% causes degradation.

If it's getting cycled regularly with frequent power outages, then I'd say it's fine. If it's sitting months at a time, I'd put it on a "top-off" schedule every week or so.
