Directly, no comms hub.Are you connecting directly to the battery or comms hub when you are trying to update the batteries?
I have never seen HW 2020. and its a lifepower4 batteryDirectly, no comms hub.
Yep that's the oneThis one?

OK, thanksNo this is only for the 48v
Thanks for the input I’ll follow upOK, thanks
I want to point out that after the update, the comm cable with conductors on 7,8 no longer worked, and I had to use the Jerry rigged 1,2 cable to monitor these batteries.
After the update 7,8 uses 19,200 baud. 1,2 still uses the default 9,600OK, thanks

Will there be similar firmware updates for the 24V and 12V batteries in the future or do they not suffer from the same issues as the 48V ones?No this is only for the 48v
Do you have issues with you batteries charging to 100%?Will there be similar firmware updates for the 24V and 12V batteries in the future or do they not suffer from the same issues as the 48V ones?
The only issue I had when updating this weekend was, I had to restart the program once for two of the 6 packs. Otherwise, all went well.Pin 1,2 (read/write) still uses the default 9,600 BaudRate
Hi @Markus_SignatureSolar - Will the improvements only been seen when the inverter battery setting is set to EG4 or will those of us using USE settings also experience it.There is a new firmware available on the EG4 website https://eg4electronics.com/downloads/
This is for the 48V Lifepower4 battery. This firmware will help keep the batteries Top Balanced when charging.
The LLs are solid they dont have any issues reported.I know this update is for the Lifepower 48v, are there going to be any improvements also for the LLs?
this was meant for close loop but works open loop as wellHi @Markus_SignatureSolar - Will the improvements only been seen when the inverter battery setting is set to EG4 or will those of us using USE settings also experience it.
I have issues where, in a pair of 24v batteries in series, one will be at 27.0v, and the other will be at 28v. The drift gets so bad that one batteries shows cellOV alarm. About once a week I have to disconnect these pairs and reconnect in parallel, let them balance each other, then reconnect in series.Do you have issues with you batteries charging to 100%?
Is the 24v version recommend for series connection?I have issues where, in a pair of 24v batteries in series, one will be at 27.0v, and the other will be at 28v. I was hoping this firmware would let one battery turn its Charge MOS off while the other was still on, to allow both batteries to reach the same voltage (1/2 nominal bank voltage each)
