I just purchased an EG4 powerpro batter and EG4 6k split phase inverter to build a battery back up system for a home and am wondering what the best way to mount this is. I'm getting a generator inlet switch installed to plug in the inverter incase of a power outage (we're renting the house hence the inlet wiring) and am wondering if I could possibly mount this in a portable diy utility cart and if anyone has done something like this? These are fairly heavy pieces too (300lbs for the battery only) but I think if I made a solid frame using large (8") caster wheels, it could work?
