Well thinking about things like hurricanes rolling in and a lot of people being without power. I wonder how many people realize that perhaps they have a thousand watt inverter available but have grid tied solar panels on their roof so they're sitting in the dark
Anyway my idea is that if your solar panels are relatively undamaged they may not realize that with a small amount of wiring and perhaps a car battery or two that they might be able to run a little mini refrigerator or something along those lines to get a little comfort
I think about this because my niece and her husband unfortunately financed solar panels on their new house and they cannot make any modifications to have power during grid outages. At least without voiding their warranty and repercussions
