Hi all,
For those of you wondering about the more recent Enjoybot battery with low temperature protection, I posted my disappointing experience here https://diysolarforum.com/threads/weird-acting-ampere-time-battery.51822/post-696475
In short, anytime the temperatures fall under 0 degrees Celsius the BMS will shutoff both charging *and* discharging, even though the battery is supposed to allow discharging up to -20 degrees Celsius. It shouldn't be a big task to program the BMS to allow for discharging-only at low temps, but they botched it. This makes it fairly unusable for people like me who want to use these batteries for leisure travel trailers/RVs (we store them for weeks at a time without heating, then use them on weekends)
I'll let you guys know what they come up with, mine is still under their 90 day return period.
