I've basically copied Will Prowse's DIY 400w solar power system. I have a 100ah SOK battery and one 400w panel.
Everything seems to work for about 20 minutes, but then the PV light (which has been happily flashing) turns off. When this happens, my inverter briefly flashes a red fault light and switches off for just a second. After a few minutes the charge light comes back on and the whole process starts again.
I've kinda checked all my connections by wiggling them and reset the breaker fuse. I'm still waiting for the MT50 monitor to arrive but I'm only running a laptop and a display for the moment.
Is it normal for the PV light to switch off when the battery is (possibly) fully charged?
