Equipment bounding

Can you equipment bound (ie earth wire to equipment casing/metal box etc) the AC and DC together???

so, my Consumer unit is AC, and my consumer unit is a metal boxed version, and let's take my MPPT charge controllers, they are DC, again, they are metal clad,
all my equipment bounding is also tied to one single earth rod/spike.

But I did start to ask myself the question, !!! can the AC and DC share the same earth rod and also be connected to both the ac and DC equipment bounding???

Absolutely yes.
There should only be one grounding system for everything.

No... you need to connect it to a second planet. One planet for AC and one for DC grounding
