Solar Assistant, doesn't require internet?Solar Assistant diy solar assistant I'm McLuvin it.
No, but it's more betterer if connected. Since the SA graphs use time, not connecting to the net can be an issue since the Pi gets its time over the net, but there is an add-on for the Pi to keep time. Can the Pi4 keep time w/o the net?Solar Assistant, doesn't require internet?

I have no idea. In fact, I don't even know what a Pi4 is. lolCan the Pi4 keep time w/o the net?
how does the Pi connect to the growattSolar Assistant diy solar assistant I'm McLuvin it.
Richard, I don't know what the issue is about getting tech answers from you guys on Growatts chargers only, your company has brushed me off 3 times now & I'm more than irritated. If you can't answer them, send me to someone who can. The chargers I bought from you are rated for 250v input but when used in 24v mode it says to limit input to 100v? This is confusing, is that a recommendation or absolute? I have my panels strung 3 in series @ 120v max output so I need to know if that will kill those chargers? Stop ignoring me!No sir - unless you plan to build your own local network and intercept the traffic and build an API to monitor.
On the Growatt spf6000, it uses the cable included with the GW. The cable looks like an ordinary printer cable. This is the connection cited from the SA site Growatt connectionhow does the Pi connect to the growatt
Those are limitations per the manual and I would recommend following them. The MPPT has different limits at different voltage outputs for a number of reasons. Also - this is the first time you’ve reached out to me, I’m definitely not ignoring anyone who is asking for help.Richard, I don't know what the issue is about getting tech answers from you guys on Growatts chargers only, your company has brushed me off 3 times now & I'm more than irritated.
