Wiring this baby up...please, I need your help. I've read through the manual and watched videos over and over.
It can handle 2,000 watts PV at max 145 voc with an 80a mppt.
Okay so I also have the overkill solar (8awg wires)100a/8s BMS wired 2p8s from 16/190ah cells. So another question. The BMS can handle 2400 watts but the inverter is 3000? What would be a safe constant load?
I need better instruction regarding the fuses and disconnects. Can the 8awg bms negative connect directly to the DC input? It's 2 feet long. And add another from battery positive to Growatt?
Instructions for battery connections say to use (1*2awg). Same box underneath says (2*6awg). Confused.
PV connection says 80amp 6awg. I'll be using 6 of the bouge rv mono 180 panels in a single series. Each is 22.5 voc and 8.91 amps so that would be 135v at 8.91 amps.
Hopefully, I'm on the right track.
So was going to use 8/2 electrical wire into the main breaker (40amp fuse). Does that mean I use 8awg into a sub panel also?
Guide me a bit. I have 150amp fuse, 2 100amp buss bars and the panels on the way.
What am I missing at this point? What would you do differently? This is my first build. Thanks. chefjjdecker@gmail.com
