Growatt SPF 5000ES PV Input - 18A vs 22A - What changed?

This is mostly true and there are a lot of people out there with over-paneled Growatts. Unfortunately, the Growatt documentation puts hard limits on the max PV power. When I contacted them about it they said it was a hard limit. Consequently, going above the limit puts you in a situation where it seemingly works but is unsupported.

I've heard that as well, but there is another thread around here where Signature Solar showed a chat conversation with Growatt Support, where he said there was no problem with over amps. Volts is of course a whole different matter you don't want to mess with.

I just got delivered 2 units: The print on the panel says 18A, the manual in the box says 22A.
