Hi everyone,

I've got a Growatt SPH-3600-BL-UP which is working beautifully, but unfortunately the CT clamp is a long way from the inverter and sometimes it doesn't quite manage to get the import/export quantities quite right, especially when the draw is low.

I bought an Eastron SDM-120-CTM meter for this exact purpose, but when I wire it up to the inverter, I just get a 401 meter fault error.

I've double-checked with a multi-meter and I get a voltage across pins 1 and 5 on the RJ45 connector, so I know that the meter is sending something to the inverter. Also, I've double-checked basic things like baud rate (9600), device number (1) and parity (none).

The meter model looks identical to the growatt badged one, right down to the instruction manual!

Has anyone got it to work at all?? Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Many thanks in advance
