Growatt Wifi dongle instalation unsuccessful...?

I have tried a few videos on the instalation of this dongle, but i cant get it to work. First i couldnt get it to connect (blue flashing light) then i got a blue flashing light and still nothing, then i created what i think is an account (which growatt recognizes but i cant get into. After i do the password change, it doesnt find an account. So i dont know if im right or if im wrong. I cant connect to the shine app and no device is shown connected, but the growatt dongle flashes blue. I did change the server to us server, so i have no idea what is wrong... any thoughts?

I have a growatt SPF 6000T DVM-MPV and the dongle sent to me is PN: skmr00.0000800 (the white dongle)

If I had seen the number of issues with this Growatt Dongle, I would have bought a totally different Inverter. This is so sad that the issue has been happening for months/years and no formal communique on a solution from Growatt. Its appalling....

Installed mine yesterday and after 48hrs and dozens of emails with no response, I am about giving up.

Any pointers on a substitute for remote monitoring the Growatt Inverters/Batteries?

Update: Got in touch with Growatt and a new manual they provided helped sort this out. May be useful to some here:

Well my dongle finally died. Never got it configured. Can no longer access it after it firmware upgraded.

Hi, just got mine working after i tried to plug into power bank instead of inverter itself. Didnt manage to record how i connected it. Please try it and let me know, i’m not sure if its the case, but i tried 3 days connecting it with different method shine dongle on the inverter SPF5000ES, it just didnt work out. Today i tried powerbank instead, and its connected (super fast, like before it reaches 100% lol)

Yes I did. Connected to inverter. Sorry for the delayed response

New issue now is that the app is not loading on any device (iPhone, iPad, Samsung Note) but records loading on web portal. Anyone else experiencing this?

My dongle was DOA. Did not communicate with the Growatt inverter after installation. Downloaded a new ESP8266 program into the Shine dongle and it ran fine -- just not with the inverter. Doing my own RS485 monitoring on a ESP32 when I get the time.
