Hello. I hope everyone reading this is well.

My 4 Battleborn 100Ah / 12V batteries, configured in 2S2P 24V, have been disconnected from my solar panels for about 6 months. As I prepare to reconnect them, I wonder what the proper protocol should be. Should I first drain them completely? Is there a method to ensure they all reach the same charging level? What is the best practice for reconnecting my batteries?

Cheers,
Marc.

Specs:

250V / 100A Victron charge controller
4000W Giandel inverter
4 Battleborn 100Ah / 12V batteries in 2S2P 24V config

10 Mission Solar panels in 5S2P config:
Watts (STC) 345W
Max Power Voltage (VMPP) 33.37 V
Max Power Current (IMPP) 10.34 A
Open Circuit Voltage (VOC) 41.0 V
Short Circuit Current (ISC) 10.92 A
Max System Voltage (UL) DC 1000 V

Check the charge level and if they are all roughly the same just hook them up. IF they are significantly different from each other, treat them as new ... so disassemble the pack and charge each up fully before reassembling the pack.
