High Voltage Disconnect

HI Have an MPPT charge controller. Settings have a High Voltage Disconnect setting. Range can be set between 13v and 15v. 14.4 was factory set.

Simple test setup. 100Watt solar panel, MMPT charge controller and an old 12v car battery for testing.

Any feedback on what to set this voltage at please?

Does your mystery charge controller have a means to set battery type? This will likely produce
a reasonable default charge profile for a lead acid battery.

B1 to B4. Did some research and looks like
B1 Flooded Lead Acid.
B2 AGM
B3 Gel
B4 Lithium

So i should trust the settings for these battery types?

Its a good start. Lead acid is pretty easy so probably good to go. If there are any settings/values you want to discuss, this is a good time to do that.

Trust all but the lithium setting. That would have to be looked at closly to be sure it works for the Li you may have.
