Seeing as LMFP cells are still mostly an upcoming chemistry, I figured I would try to be ahead of the game and test out some of what seems to be the first LMFP cells on the market. Hui Li Yuan (HLY) is generally a smaller NCM and LFP cylindrical cell manufacturer, recently however they've launched a LMFP 26700 cell. Nominally its 3.7v, 5000mAh. I bought 20 of the cells to test. Cost was $2.30 ea + $2.65 Shipping ea directly from HLY. I've not got the time yet to test them, but based on the information from HLY, I am willing to believe they are LMFP, rather than some of the other cells on the market claiming to be so. Main disadvantage so far seems to be poor discharge and charge rate abilities. Will update as I actually get them tested.
