Ahhh .... Don't know anything about the updates on Android.

I think that most of my tablets are on version 4.8.5
But the phone is on 4.6.5
No update shows up on any of them.
It's not a big deal. I just don't get what all the cool kids have. lol

Have to wait til the X phone comes out to be really cool ... LOL

But yeah .... the IOS update just requires re-entering the password after it's installed. That would only be a problem if you changed it and forgot what it was.

Unless it's made by Samsung and has the Galaxy name on it. I'm not interested.
I was referring to the JK app version, not the iPhone.

I think they only update the app every couple of years for the Android ....

I only opened the app, to see if I had an update for it. Because people were talking about an update. I actually haven't used it since I connected them to Solar Assistant.

It wasn’t the pin. Never have I used 1234 and that’s what it was.

Only password / pin I have ever used is 123456.


When have you used 1234 before?

How did you pair the app to the BMS, the first time?

I really don’t.
As far as I can remember it just came up.
I had to set the parameters , # of cells, LIFEPO4, etc but no pairing required.

All of the sudden all of my 10 batteries refuse to communicate with my JK app.

Every battery that has worked for 2 years is now giving me a “ Make pair” nonsense.

I have tried the only password ever used 123456 and nothing.

WTH is going on?

this just happen to me for first time ... too .. an new window asking for password to make a pair. 123456 did not work? WILL STUDY THIS THREAD to see what I might learn. ...gona reboot my android phone, and see if that makes any difference.

I hadn’t looked at my bms apps for a while and when I did it asked to pair. It took me a moment to remember it’s 1234. All’s good.
