Lifepo4 BMS Communication

Hi All...

Just want to check how we can pair BMS communication between inverter with lifepo4 with unknown BMS info ( c/w RS 485 port). I can't find any BMS info of battery such as modbus address, baud rate, stop bit and parity etc. Also not so sure battery transmitting RS485 signal or not. Is there any way to check lifepo4 RS485 port transmitting any signal or not. thanks in advance..

you could buy a cheap usb to rs485 adapter, hookup a laptop and "sniff" if anything is transmitted by using a tool like :
