Has anyone used the 12v dc output on the LV6548? It says 100 watts

I was thinking of just buying a 48v to 12v converter to run 12v circuits on my van
Or
Finding a way to charge my 12v starter battery and pull 12v off of that maybe but I'm concerned about charging it and having the alternator kicking on at the same time.

Get a converter.
100w isn't enough for much (just a control circuit) . And you definitely don't want to connect it to another charging source. (Like an alternator)

I assumed that little connector was right across the battery connections and hence 48 volts but I've never probed it to find out for sure. Proceed with caution.

I wouldn't hook up the lv6548 to the starter battery.
Would a 48v dc to 12v dc charger handle the alternator turning on? Would it cause any issues?

The 12v output was optional as well, and had to be special ordered from the factory. I would probe an make sure there is actual 12v there.
