I have a LVX 6048 connected to a pv array through a 247watts 8/2 combiner box.

I have two strings of 4, 445w 41.9v panels for a total of 3570w with 335v.

First issue, at the main breaker, the combiner box only shows 250v max on a multimeter. This is also what I getting on the pv lugs of the 6048.

Second issue, LVX 6048 250v max BUT ONLY 50-80w no matter if load/no load or battery charged, etc.

I emailed 247watt support and they said fuse blow. I changed all the fuses, same issues. Now they do not respond to questions.

I also changed out the LVX 6048 with another…same issues.

Any ideas will most certainly be appreciated this is a frustrating issue.

The third string has been decommissioned as I didn’t want volts going too high.

From the pictures, it looks like there are 3 strings going into the combiner box

Each string of four 41.9V panels should be 41.9 x 4 = 167.6V But the measured voltage is 250V. (150V is in the range I would expect.)

To get 335V from 41.9V panels would require one string of 8 panels.

SO.... I am confused. Could you tell us a bit more about your panel layout?

Have you figured this out? I have exact same issue. Plenty PV voltage, and super low wattage available on screen. I have (6) 300 watt LG panels connected in series and now showing 230v/45watts. I've tried to reach out to MPP Solar and nothing has fixed. They are slower to respond, but I don't want to get stuck owning a $1200 wall piece that was meant to be used without any battery connected. Wtf.
