Magrevo 8k/Signature solar EG 8k inverter stuck in grid mode

Hi has anyone any idea on how to resolve a Eg4 8k/Magrevo 8k inverter stuck in grid mode?
I literally have to cut grid feed to the inverter for it to switch to Ems(battery)mode even after the battery goes to full charge.
I tried tweaking setting but to no avail.

I would not want to burden SS since the unit is more of the magrevo brand and not SS.
Was just using the module versions for familiarity since the units are identical.

I've got one on a pallet right now waiting to go back for that very reason plus a few more. It will stay in grid until Grid is disconnected. While I have been through several polite sessions on this issue with SS, I think it's inherent with the machine while it's connected to output 1
