Basically if your CONSTANT loads are under 1200W and you don’t need over 2000W (or perhaps 2500W tops) 12V works fine and is an advantage with lots of 12V lights or whatever.
Over 2000W or 2500W, maybe 3000W seldom) it starts making mechanical and economical sense to go 24V. And at that point imho I’m on a day where I’d recommend one should skip 24V altogether and jump right in to 48V.
