The Diesel generator is "last resort" for power here, if the solar batteries
are exhausted, and recharge is not available.
The generator battery is kept charged by a small solar panel, connected to
a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 charge controller.

Preparing the generator to start in the dark shed is a pain w/ flashlight.
I noticed the Victron has a "load" output for ??? small amounts of power.
The load is powered by the generator battery, through the Victron CC.

Received a discount code from superbrightleds.com, bought a small, weatherproof LED light bar
and motion sensor to mount on the wall next to the generator.
The idea is that when we go in the shed to prepare the generator for use, the LED light
comes on automatically, no more holding flashlights.
