hello all.

i just purchased a growatt spf 6000t dvm-mpv.
i also purchased a growatt AXE 5.0L battery.
its scheduled to arrive this monday so ill be playing with it more and getting it mounted.

i used a solar calculator off of santansolar.com to figure out that i need 5 -300watt panels.

question--do i hook my pannels up in series or parallel?

-the panels im going to purchase are 5 of the 375 watt 72 cell mono solar panels.

thankyou

As long as the open circuit voltage of your panels is less than 50v each then hands down go series. But 5 would be your max, unless you parallel another string of 5.

To correctly answer your question, info about where everything is to be mounted is important.
Specs of both items.
Distances apart, etc.
im going to install them on the roof of my shipping container to start.

the length from my pannels to my inverters pv input will be no less than 8' estimated and
no more than 20'.

the inverter is going to be mounted less than 3' from my electrical panel which feeds the container.

panels
p max =375w
voc=48.3v
vmp=40.3v

Same inverter I have

What matters is the specs on the panels, got a pic of the panel info (sticker on back)
