Hey guys,
I spent a lot of time developing this tool which helps people who are looking for rooftop solar evaluate the different options. The product advice sections contain my summary of different product reviews. I would love to get input on how useful this tool is and where to improve it. Please be kind
.

To construct the tool, I receive regular pricing data from a bunch of wholesalers, then standardise, deduplicate and classify the data, filter out some low-quality brands, select the cheapest source for each product, add installation costs and margins, and calculate the government subsidy (for Australia). It's a long but fairly efficient process.
It does have some limitations like it doesn't cover batteries at the moment, or some brands like Enphase. See the footnotes for a complete list.
Let me know if you've seen other tools like this too. Would be good to compare.
Thanks!!!
Mike
