Nomad 100 panel with PowerHouse 767?

Hello,

I'm very much a newbie and apologize in advance if this is a silly question and/or I'm posting in the incorrect area.

Is it possible to use a Goal Zero Nomad 100 panel at the same time as an Anker 531 panel with the Anker Powerhouse 767?

Thank you for your time!

Goal Zero:
  • Rated Power: 100 Watts
  • Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) 21.5V
  • Maximum Power Point Voltage (Vmpp): 18.0V
  • Maximum Power Point Current (Impp): 5.56A
  • Short Circuit Current (Isc): 5.9A
  • Cell Type: Monocrystalline
Anker 531:
Rated Power 200W
Open Circuit Voltage 57.6V
Operating Voltage 48V
Operating Current 4.17A

Due to their substantial voltage disparity, they can't be placed in parallel.

If placed in series, the Anker will force the Goal Zero to operate at 4.17A vs. 5.56A where it will perform as though it were a 75W panel.

So, parallel is a no-go and series will perform at 275W at best.

The MPPT must also be capable of 100Voc PV input.

So, parallel is a no-go and series will perform at 275W at best.

If I already have access to everything, does it harm the PowerHouse to use them together? Getting the extra 75W would be better than using just the Anker 531 on its own?

Thank you again! You're very kind.

It will only harm the unit if the unit can't handle 100Voc PV input. You did not provide specifications for the PowerHouse, so I can't confirm.
