Hey All
I'm new with lifepo4. Has anyone had experience with a charge or discharge over current "warning" with renogy 100 Smart lithium battery and renogy DC home. This combination always shows an over current warning as in the photos. When fully charged it also shows an error 24 on the "abnormal conditions" in the battery section of DC home.
Regards Chum

Yes I have experienced the same thing. On charge/discharge currents as low as around 1amp.

Currently going back back and forth with renogy support to find out what it could be.

Stenve, would love to know if you ever resolved your issues. I am having the same issues and getting nowhere with Renogy Support. My batteries are brand new and they want me to send them back for testing that will take 10 to 14 business days. I am leaving on a long trip in 10 days and will be boondocking most of the time.

Mike, Did this ever get resolved? I am getting that same message when I attempt to charge my Renogy 100 ah with self heating battery. Using the Renogy 120v to 12v 20amp charger. Was it a BMS issue?

Ultimately, Renogy replaced my batteries. I was able to involve a supervisor who cut through the BS I was getting, fast tracked replacement batteries in order to save my trip, and Fed Ex picked up the original batteries to return to Renogy. Over the course of the trip the replacement batteries were fantastic.
