If you look at the attached spec sheet, the panels have 6 mounting holes down each long side. The center most pair say "Tracker"

These panels are nearly 90" long, so using the center pair of holes leaves you with 3' of unsupported panel balanced in a pair of holes 16" apart.

Thoughts? Am I interpreting this wrong?
Detail B just shows the hole/slot dimensions.

When you use the center ones you have less then half the load rating compared to using points closer to the ends. There should be specifications for that in the "installation manual" for your panel.

Well, I learned something today, thanks!
I didn't know those even existed. I've never only ever seen spec sheets.

Per the installation manual, those narrow centered mounts are TB1a and would work alone, just at lower wind forces.

Looks like 1600 pascals is wind at 50 m/s.
50m/s is about 111 mph. That sounds way higher than I expect.

Hmm, 1600 pascals is about 0.23 psi.
The panel is about 87"*41"
So, those center mounts are rated to something around 800 lbs.

Oh well, doesn't matter anyways. I've already build up the tracker to use the widest set of holes. However, had I known this info back when I started things might be different.

Thanks again!
