PV string AB switch

Afternoon all. Have a customer asking for something never asked of me. Have 2 Sol-Ark 15's wired up and running. He has asked that in the "event " of one of his inverters going down he be able to switch the pv from the down inverter to the up inverter. Wants to have some sort of pre wired AB switch that would allow him to switch the strings when or if needed.

Have looked for products on line and the folks at Midnite solar suggested I come here to find a solution. Any and all help appreciated

Would this mean that you'd have two normally separate PV strings connected in parallel to the working inverter when the switch was engaged?

Or does the customer just want to be able to select which individual string the working inverter is sourcing it's PV input from?

In either case, you can achieve the desirable outcome with 4 normal isolator switches. The customer would need to be aware of the correct switching procedure, though.
