I bought a renogy rover 40A in nov 2017, today i noticed that the negative connected to the battery was very hot, and it melted a piece of the plastic. The connector marked in the picture is loose . Can i solder this connector back to the board and will it work properly again?

The battery cable is 8AWG.

update: I soldered the connections and its working again. This model of the renogy rover has very little solder on the connections... I contacted Renogy and the warranty is 2 years, which after checking is the exact amount of time ive been using this .
Now I purchased an EPEVER to replace this one.
