Does the gas supply ever fail?

It's rare but once in our second most populous state there was a gas outage for 20 days after a supply point explosion.

We've never experienced a gas outage, but I know they do happen. I also have a 12kW generator that goes on the back of my tractor, so we can use that until the diesel tank runs dry. If electric, natural gas, and diesel all become unavailable, it's time to turn the lights out.
