So it looks as if sma finally produced a hybrid inverter that is a "all in one" 5-10kw models.

Sweet, i’ll pick up a second hand one in five or so years from a demolition for a few hundred buck ?

The battery wires look awfully small and uses some MC4 stylish plugs. I didn't take the time to try to find the specs on it for batteries, but make me think it either requires high voltage batteries "above 48v" or can't pull much from the batteries....

More than likely high voltage batteries are required.

3-phase, European voltage and frequency.
3 inputs, one is for 150V to 600V battery, other two for PV.

Looks like its grid disconnect relay can leave inverter supplying protected loads. So it is a complete system in a box, for up to 3x 15A 230V circuits.
10 second surge to 10kVA or 12kVA depending on model (across all three lines, would be 1/3 of that for single phase motors.

This is probably for similar (48V?) battery with bidirectional boost converter to 400V as Sunny Boy Storage. That limits available fault current.

If they made a unit for the US with two 120V phases for 120/240V, that could be a competitive product. e.g. 2x 6kW Sunny Boy Storage for 2x the price, that would be a 12kW unit for $5000. (A 120V transformerless inverter isn't a good a fit for 600 V max PV, however, due to lower efficiency.)
