Solis RAI-3K-48ES-5G to Pylontech US5000 CanFail error

I’m really pulling my hair out at the minute and have spent hours trying to solve my inverter to battery communication.
Installed Solis RAI-3K-48ES-5G inverter and bought a Pylontech US5000. Stupidly thought it would be plug and play but I’ve tried everything to get the two to communicate. Has anyone got this setup and could you share your cable configuration please.
Emailed both Solis and Pylontech support but always get conflicting info.
What pins on the RJ45 do you have for this exact setup to work?
Keep getting no battery warning flashing.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated before I go insane.

You should use the supplied cable if you got one. Otherwise CAN is on pins 4 and 5, straight through. Don't connect Pins 1-3 on the battery end to anything.

Basically a straight through cable with the wires on pins 1-3 cut should work.

Thanks for the reply and link.
I’m using the Pylontech supplied CAN cable so according to the Solis docs that should work.
Still keep getting CanFail alarm. And no battery is recognised. All dip switches at 0. Battery flashing green run light. Checked inside inverter as some reports suggest internal cables have been known to be disconnected. Had firmware on inverter updated remotely. Can’t think of anything else to try. What other variables might cause CanFail alarm. Incorrect wiring of clamps/meters or anything?
