I have a chance to buy some Starkpower lifep04 batteries that are 12v 36ah.They have the following number on them SP12V36-uss and are classified as a start battery

Is it possible to parallel a number of these for greater capaciity. It also indicates it has cell balancing circuitry inside.

With Lithium is there a difference between start and deep cycle batteries?
In Lithium terms, I translate those like this:
- "starter" means capable of high discharge rates. something like 1C or 2C. (so 100Ah battery could deliver 100A)
- "deep cycle" lower discharge rates. Maybe 0.5C or 0.25C (so 100Ah battery could deliver 50 or 25A)

I don't believe there's a difference in depth of discharge for one vs the other, though. But the manufacturer may set their internal BMS to cut off at a 80% and then offer a longer warranty.
