I chose to ‘passive’ bottom balance cells for a month, it may have stabilized cells. ...we’ll see.

I have never seen anything that has changed a cell's capacity after it leaves the manufacturer, except calendar ageing and cycles, both of which only lower capacity. Hopefully yours were well matched.

Thnx Ampster, I value your input! And I look forward to battery installation, it’s been a long haul.

Battery rested overnight, now to breakdown and transfer to RV. But first finish Mr. heater installation in order to work on solar system at night.

Battery in, space is at a premium for the 640W/280AH solar system in a small cubicle but doable! It’ll power a 120 sf Jayco travel trailer (no generator) in the boondocks. ...next complete system wiring and test (y)

I’ll finish wiring solar system this week, lithium battery connected and charged (90% SOC), test, boom or bust ; )

The solar install is complete, ready to test! The 640W/280AH system occupies a 2.5' x 3' space.

Solar has signs of life but I need to learn the battery monitoring app.
LOL

Solar online, adjusted the SCC parameters.

I’ll turn-on the inverter next. And because the system is somewhat oversized (inverter, converter, SCC, wire), l haven’t noticed any heat dissipation. Of course I’m testing and not in the real world.

All AC/DC systems are a go. Battery is strong and solar charges quickly.

I set Outback charge parameters to about 90%. A snapshot of individual cell voltages in float mode; 3.347, 3.347, 3.346, 3.347, 3.345, 3.345, 3.346 and 3.346.
Also the inverter now reads 60 HZ, thnx acdoctor.

Edit- the cell voltages posted above are at a state of rest after charging. The numbers vary more in float mode.

Preparing for launch...check electrical, plumbing, load cargo. On the road, I’ll start a new thread detailing solar performance.

Nights are below freezing so I crank the heat in the morning to thaw out the lithium battery (avoid charging below 32 F). But when traveling, it’ll be room temperatures.

I read 26.8V = 90% capacity…I’ll dial up the SCC.
